Welcome to the smart hippo FAQ page. Here you will find many answers about in what conditions are products are produced, what materials are used, postage and delivery, wholesale and bulk buying and many other questions. Anything not mentioned please call us or drop us an email for the answers.

Q. Are your dream catchers fair-trade?
A. Yes they are fair-trade, they are produced under the finest environmental conditions.

Q. What materials are used to produce your dream catchers? 
A. Mainly nylon, cotton, faux feathers and terracotta beads or wooden beads.  Coloured plastic jewels are used on some of our designs.

Q. Do you sell on other sites? 
A. Yes, we sell on eBay and Amazon. Our prices on those site are more expensive because of fees applied to each sale by eBay and Amazon. 

Q. What are your shipping procedures? 
A. We post daily Monday to Friday by Royal Mail Tracked service. This service is free to all our UK based customers. See our shipping page for more details. 

Q. Do you sell wholesale / bulk? 
A. Yes we do, please let us know how many of what style colour and size in a message and we will endeavour to contact you with a quote asap.

Q. How will I know if/when my item has been dispatched?
A. We send out an email notification or sms when your item has been dispatched with tracking and courier information. If you do not receive an email it could be either because you have not declared an email when checking out, our it could be in your junk mail.

Q. What happens if my item arrives but it is damaged?
A. Unfortunately sometimes things do arrive damaged for one reason or another. We require a detailed picture of the damage and a short message from you explaining exactly in what condition you found the item on arrival. This must be provided immediately on arrival.  We do NOT accept late claims.

Q. What happens if my tracking shows that the item has arrived but I have not received anything?
A. Unfortunately in such cases, the buyer has to communicate directly with the carrier. See our refund policy

Q. Do you ship abroad? 
A. Yes, we do we ship all over the world starting from just £4.99 prices do increase as more items are added to an order.
